Notes • Make s ure that the connect ing cords are not tra p ped by the ja ck cover. • If you use com mercia lly availa ble cords, make s ure that t hose cords ar e simil ar to the s upplied cor ds in siz e.

38 Playing Di scs Play ing Discs When play ing a disc, ma ke su re that the MS indicator is turned off (Disc mode). To play a DATA-CD, see page 67. Depending on the DVD or VIDEO CD , some operati o ns may be dif f er ent or r e st ricted. Refer to th e operating in structions sup plied with your di sc.

41 Playing D iscs Usin g the D VD’ s Men u A DVD VIDEO is divid ed into long section s of a picture or a music feature call ed “titles. ” When you play a DVD VIDEO which contain s several ti tles, you can select the tit le you want us ing t he TOP MENU bu tton.

If multilingua l subtitles are recorded on the di sc, you can chan ge the subtitle language while playi ng, and turn it o n or off whenever you wan t.
