8 Notes on using your camera [ Int ernal memory and “ Memory Stick Duo” back up Do not turn off the camera , remove the battery pack, or remove the “Memory S tick Duo” while the access lamp is lit. Otherwise, the internal memo ry d ata or “ Mem or y Stick Duo” may be damaged.

10 1 Preparing the bat tery pack 1 Insert the battery pack into the batte ry charger. • Insert the battery pack as far as it will go, the press the back of the battery pac k gently until it clicks. 2 Connect the battery charger to the wall outlet (wall socket).
11 2 Inserting the bat tery pack/a “Memor y Stick Duo” (not supplied) 1 Open the battery/“Mem ory Stick Duo” cover. 2 Insert the “M emory Stick Du o” (not supp lied). 3 Insert the battery pack. 4 Close the battery/“Memory Stick Duo” cover.
12 [ To remove the batte ry pack/“ Memor y Stick Duo ” Open the b attery/ “Mem ory Sti ck Du o” cove r. • Never remove the battery pack/“Memory St ick Duo” when the access lamp is lit. This may cause damage to data in the “Memory Stick Duo”/i nternal memory.

17 Viewin g/delet ing imag es 1 Press (Playback). If you press when the camera is powered off, the camera is turned on automatically and set to playback mode. To switch to the shooting m ode, press again. 2 Select an image with b / B on the contr ol button.

29 Troubl esho oting If you exper ience tr ouble with your camera, tr y the following solutions. Be aware th at by send ing the camer a for repa ir, you giv e consen t that the cont ents of the inter nal memory may be che cked. Cannot insert the battery pack.
30 Cannot charge the battery pack. • You cannot charge the battery pa ck using the AC Adap ter (not supplie d). Cannot record ima ges. • Check th e free ca pacity of th e intern al memory o r “Memory S tick Duo” (pa ges 27, 28) . If it is full, do one o f the foll owing: – Delete unn ecessary images (page 17).
