7 Notes on the LC D screen and lens • The LCD screen is manufactured using extremely high-precision technol ogy so over 99.4% of the pi xels are operational for effectiv e use. Ho wever , there may be some tin y black points and/or bright points (white, red, blue or green in col or) that constantly appear on the LCD screen.

20 Printing images Printing images using a Pi ctBridge complia nt printer Even if you do not have a compu ter , you can print ima ges shot using your ca mera by conne cting th e camera di rectly to a Pic tBrid ge compliant pri nter . • “PictBridge” is based on the CIP A standard.
21 Printing im ages 1 Connect the camera to the printer. 2 Turn on your camera and the printer. The ca mera is set to play back mod e, then a n image a nd the print menu app ear on the screen. Regar dless of what the mode dial is set to, the pri nt menu a p pear s when yo u comp lete S tage 2.

23 T r oubleshoo ting Y our camera cannot record images. • Check th e free capac ity of the inte rnal memory or “Mem o ry Sti ck Duo” (page 12). If it i s full, do one of the fol low ing: – Delete unnecessar y images. – Change the “Memory Stick Duo” .
24 Y our camera cannot play back imag es. • Set the mo de dial to (page 18). • The cam era is in US B mode. Delete the USB conn ection. The date and time are not displayed. • The (Screen status) b utton is turned of f. The image do es not appear on t he TV screen.
