27 GB Using shooting functions Selecting the image size to match the usage The image siz e determin es the si ze of t he image file that is recorded when you take a image. The larger t he image s ize, the mo re detail will be reproduced wh en the ima ge is prin ted on larg e-form at pap er.

38 GB C onnec ti n g t o o th er d ev i ces Viewing images on a TV • The [Video O ut] setting is set to [ NTSC] mode at the f actory to let you enjoy opt imum movi e image quali ty. When images do not appear or jittery on your TV, you may be using a PAL-on ly TV.

41 GB Connecting to other devices x Stage 1: Installing t he “PMB” (supplied) You can install the soft ware (suppli ed) using the follo wing procedure. When you install “PMB ,” “Musi c Transfer ” is also i nstalled. • Log on as Administr ator.
