6 Section 1 - FA MILIA RIZA TION FIGURE 1.1 1.1 INTRODUCT ION This manual has been prepar ed for the operators of the SNAPPER W ALK BEHIND MOW ERS. Its purpose, aside from recom mending oper ating and routine servic e requirements , is to promote safety through the use of accepted operating practices .
7 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE-STA RT CHECK LIST Make the following c hecks and per form the service required bef ore each start-up. 2.1.1. Check guards, deflectors, gr ass bag, adapter and covers to mak e sure all are in plac e and securely tightened.
