Installation inst r uction s 5 2. Installation and hook-up Remove the polystyrene basket retainers. Position the appliance in the desired place of installa tion. The back or sides of the dishwasher m ay be placed up against walls or o ther furniture units.
Installation inst r uction s 6 2.1 Water supply conn ection Preventing the risk o f clogging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long time, before connecting to the water supply check that the water i s clear and fre e of impurities, to prevent d amage to the appliance.

User instructio ns 9 3. Description of the controls 3.1 Upper panel All the dishwasher controls are grouped on the upper panel. Switch-on, programming , switch-off, etc. procedu res are only possi ble when the door is open. The panel shown is only a guideline example: the form of the lights and buttons may vary depending on the model.

User instructio ns 14 3.2 Washing program s Before starting a washing program make sure that: • The water supply tap is open . • The softener container contains regenerating salt . • The correct amount of detergent has been a dded to the dispenser .
User instructio ns 15 Flexi Tabs Specifically for washing with c ombination detergents in tablets , which also contain sa lt and rinse aid or oth er agents such as g lass protector, steel rinse a ids, etc. W hen th is option is se lected, salt and rinse aid will not be dispensed even if the relative c ompartments contain them.
User instructio ns 16 PROGRAM DELAY The start of the program can be delayed by 3, 6 or 9 hours. This allows you to set the dishwasher to work at the times o f day most convenient to you. After s etting the program , press the button to select the delay you require; the corresponding l ight will come on.

User instructio ns 18 4. Operating instructions Once the dishwasher has been correctly installed, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the water softening system; • Add the regenerating salt; • Add the rinse aid and detergent.
User instructio ns 19 • Do not use table salt as it con tains i nsoluble substances which, over time, may damage the water softening system. • When necessary, refill the regenerating salt container before starting the washing program .

User instructio ns 21 ADDING THE RINSE AID The rins e aid helps the dishes d ry faster and prevents the fo rmation of scale deposits and staining; it is automatically added to the w ater during the final rinse cyc l e, from the co ntainer situated on the inner side of the door.
User instructio ns 22 ADDING THE DETERGENT To open the detergent dispenser cap, l ightly press the button P . Add the detergent a nd close the cap carefully.
User instructio ns 23 The introduction of detergent into the rins e aid dispenser, even in liquid form, will damage the dishwasher. 4.3 General warnings and recommend ations Before using the dish washer for the first time, it is advisable to read the following recommendations concerning dish t ypes to be washe d and their loading.
User instructio ns 24 WARNING! • Make sure that the d ishes are securely in pl ace so that they cannot tip ov er or obst ruct the rotation of t he spray arms during the washing cycle. • Do not place very small objects in the baskets as these c ould fall and obstruct the spray arms or the wash pump.
User instructio ns 25 4.4 Using the baskets The dis hwasher has a capacity of 12 place-settings , including serving dishes. LOWER BASKET The lower b asket receives the full force of the l ower s pray arm, and should the refore be used for the “toughest ” items with a heavier degree of soiling.
User instructio ns 26 LOADING THE LOWER BASKET Carefully load flat p lates, soup plates, d essert and s erving dishes, positioning them vertically. Pots, pans and their covers m ust be loaded upside d own. W hen loading soup pl ates and d essert bo wls, be sure to leave a gap between them.
User instructio ns 27 CUTLERY BASKET The bas ket has removable top grids in to which i tems o f cutlery should be inserted to keep them properly s paced and allow water t o pass between them effectively. The top grids and cen tral lid are in the b ag of accessories .
User instructio ns 28 UPPER BASKET It is recommended to load the up per basket with small- or medium-sized items such as glasses, small plates, tea or coffee cups, shallow bowls and light objects made from heat resistant p lastic.
User instructio ns 29 Depending o n the models, the basket may be equipped with s ome o r all of the following accessories: - Supports for cups or long objects (ladles, spoons…), on the left; can be tipped to the vertical position when not in use. - Long-stemmed glass holder, on the left; to use, simply lift and fix onto the hooks provided.
User instructio ns 30 ADJUSTING THE UPPER BASKET The hei ght of the top basket can be a djusted to allow large d ishes or pans to be placed in the bottom basket. The a djustment procedure may be type A or B , depen ding on the dishwasher model purchased.
User instructio ns 31 5. Cleaning and maintenance Before carrying out a ny work, always unplug the appliance from the electrical supply or switch off the all-pole disconnection device. 5.1 General warnings and recommend ations Avoid the use of acidic or abrasive detergents.
User instructio ns 32 CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT • It is ad visable to periodically inspect the cen tre filter C and, if necessary, to clean it. To remove the filter, grip the tabs, turn t hem anticlo.
User instructio ns 33 BEFORE STARTING THE DISHWASHER AFTER PROLONGED DISUSE: • Check that there are no deposits of s ludge o r rust inside the wa ter pipe: if there are, allow the water to run fro m the water supply tap for a few minutes. • Plug the power cord back into the socket.
User instructio ns 34 If the dishes fail to dry or remain dull, check that: • there is rinse aid inside the special container; • the rinse aid dispenser setting is correct; • the detergent used is of good quality and has not lost i ts effectiveness (for example, through in correct storage, wi th the box left open).

T roubleshooting The dishwasher is capable of signalling a number of faults through the simultaneous illumination of several indicator lights, wit h the following meanings: FAULT DESCRIPTION E1 Acquastop failure The anti-flooding system has been activated (for t he relevant models only).
