AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Media Streams The AMC Control Panel can be used to congure various video and audio settings. Please see the AXIS Media Control User’s Manual for more information. The AMC Control P anel is automatically installed on rst use, after which it can be congured.
AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Media Streams Note • <ip>= IP addess • The Axis product supports QuickTime 6.5.1 and later . • QuickTime may add latency to the video stream. • It may be possible to use other players to view the H.264 stream using the paths above, although Axis does not guarantee this.
AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Set Up the Product Set Up the Product The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator or operator rights. To open the product’s Setup pages, click Setup in the top right-hand corner of the Live View page.
AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Video and Audio Video and Audio The video and audio settings can be used to optimize video and audio quality . Y ou can congure the following: • Video stream settings. See page 17 . • Stream proles. See page 18 .
AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Video and Audio H.264 H.264, also known as MPEG-4 P art 1 0/A VC, is a video compression standard that provides high quality video streams at low bit rates. An H.264 video stream consists of different types of frames such as I-frames and P-frames.

AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Detectors Detectors Motion Detection Motion detection is used to generate an alarm whenever movement starts or stops in the camera view .
AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Detectors High level (100%) Only very large objects trigger motion detection. An object that appears in the window triggers motion detection for a long time before it is considered as non-moving. Ordinary colored objects on ordinary backgrounds trigger motion detection.
AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Applications Applications Third party applications can be uploaded to and installed on the Axis product. Applications add functionality to the product, for example video analytics and intelligent video capabilities such as recognition, tracking, detection and counting.

AXIS M5013 PTZ Dome Network Camera Events Events The Event pages allow you to congure the Axis product to perform actions when different events occur . For example, the product can start a recording or send an email notication when motion is detected.
