Insert battery Remo ve the bat tery lid (1) by sliding it down wards. Insert the battery b y placing first the upper part (2) and then the low er part (3) in the recess. Slide the bat tery lid in place. Remove battery Remo ve the bat tery lid by slid- ing it down wards.

13 12 Pr efix phone numbers Prefix phone number s are built up in the wa y that the first digits of the number ar e prefix (the same f or e.g. the whole company), and the last digit(s) is/are related to a spe- cific person or office.
14 Finding an entry Enter the phone book b y pressing . Scroll through the phone book using and or enter one or mor e letter s of the name you wish to find. Call the number: Press »CALL« . If you w ant to call a prefix number from your phone book you must enter the digits to r eplace the “?” af ter having pressed »CALL« .

21 20 Info numbers Numbers stored in this phone book are typically numbers f or taxis, air- ports, hotels, weather , news, etc. The contents are defined b y your network operator and cannot be changed b y you. Service numbers This service number phone book typically contains customer care, hotline service numbers, etc.
Messages 23 22 New SMS If you w ant to send a new SMS: Once you ha ve selected »Ne w SMS« you can start entering your message using the ke ypad in the same wa y as you enter a name in the phone book (p. 1 2). End your SMS by pressing »OK« . Select »Send SMS« by press- ing »OK« .
24 Messages Enter the list menu by pressing Select »Messages« Broadcasts These are gener al messages which ar e broadcast to a group of subscribers and typically containing local weather reports, sport results, etc. A broadcast message is scrolled twice on the display at the time of reception.

29 Echo Man When you enter »Echo Man« , you can select to start the game, or y ou can set the game lev el (level A, B, C) and/or the sound le vel (high, low , of f). Description: The purpose of the game is to remember a sequence of numbers/tones. The phone play s a sequence and you ha ve to repeat it.
Enter the Set up menu by pressing »MENU« Select »Stopwatc h« or »Clock« Stopwatch When you select »Stopw atch« , your phone acts as a stopwatch. Y ou will see two lines of numbers in the display . The first line is stop- watc h time, the second is lap time.
33 Deactivation/activation On some networks you ha ve the possibility of activating and de- activating y our call div ert. This means that once you ha ve set a call divert, y ou can select to deacti- vate it, and then at a later moment activate it again.
35 Call waiting Set »Call waiting« if y ou want to be notified by a special ringing tone in case somebody is calling you while you are alr eady having a con versa- tion.
