1 W ARNING IMPORT ANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS : READ CAREFULL Y AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. T o reduce the risk of fi re in the oven cavity: a. Do not overcook food. b. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing bag in the oven. c.

Remove all packing materials from the oven cavity . Remove the protective fi lm(blue fi lm) from the outer case cabinet.

5 * Before operating your new oven, make sure you read and understand this operation manual completely . 1) Plug in the oven. Nothing will appear in the display at this time. 2) Open the door . The display shows “0”. 3) Close the door . 4) Control panels can only be operated when the door is closed.
6 * Memory Cooking can be set in 6 operating ways. There are multiple methods of selecting memories depending on the input method selected and whether or not Auto Start is turned on or off (for information about Auto Start On/OFF function see Custom Setting 2 on page 9).
7 Express Defr ost with Memory * Suppose you want to cook with memory 0, which was programmed for 10 minutes Express Defrost sequence, Single Digit Input/Auto Start ON.
8 NOTES: 1. It is not necessary to press the POWER LEVEL pad for 100% at the last stage in Multi Stage Cooking. 2. If the total cooking time is over the maximum time allowed, error message, EE9 will be displayed. Press the STOP/ CLEAR pad to clear the error message pad and reduce total cooking time, power levels or stages.
9 Custom Setting Y ou can check your oven settings and customise your oven by changing Custom Settings settings. The CUSTOM SETTING pad has 11 operations. 1. Selecting Memory Input Method 2. Selecting Auto Start Operation 3. Programme Lock Setting 4. Audible Signal Sound V olume Setting 5.
10 * Suppose you want to set Programme Lock ON. x 2 Procedure 1 Press the CUSTOM SETTING pad twice within 2 seconds. 2 Enter 3, 2 for Programme Lock ON. 3 Press the ST ART pad to save the setting. 4 Press the STOP/CLEAR pad to exit from the Custom Setting function.
11 Procedure Display 2 Enter memory number . (After entering the memory number , the memory setting of each content is shown for 1.5 seconds at 0.3 second intervals until the STOP/ CLEAR pad is pressed.) 3 Press the STOP/CLEAR pad to exit from the Custom Setting function.
12 NOTES: 1. Only Dual Digit Input method can be used when inputting memory numbers in Counter Check/Clear . 2. T o clear total manual cooking usage, press the MANUAL/ REPEA T pad in Step 2 instead of the number pad. 3. T o clear total Express Defrost usage, press the EXPRESS DEFROST pad in Step 2 instead of the number pad.
13 Air Filter Cycle Air Filter Cycle can be changed from the factory setting of 100 hours to 001-999 hours * Suppose you want to set the cycle to 250 hours. 2 Press the MANUAL/REPEA T pad. 3 Enter desired time. (Ex : Enter 2, 5, 0 for 250 hours). After about 1 sec.
14 NOTES: 1. Only Dual Digit Input method can be used when inputting memory numbers in Multiplication Factors for Double/ T riple Quantity . 2. The multiplication factors can be set from 0.
15 5 Press the MANUAL/ REPEA T pad and enter desired multiplication for A2 at Stage 2. (Ex: Enter 1, 5 for 0.15.) 1 5 DEF . DEF . DEF . 6 Press the MANUAL/ REPEA T pad and enter desired time for B2 at Stage 2. (Ex: Press 2 for 20 seconds.) DEF . DEF .
16 NOTES: 1. Press the SET MEMORY pad twice within 2 seconds. 2. If the cooking time is over the maximum time, the display will show error code EE9. T o clear the error code, press the STOP/CLEAR pad and re-programme. See Maximum Cooking T ime on page 19.

19 Maximum Cooking T ime 1. 100%~60% power level : the total cooking time of all cooking stages is maximum 60 minutes. 2. 50%~10% power level : the total cooking time of all cooking stages is maximum 120 minutes. 3. Multi Stage Cooking : the Maximum Cooking T ime is limited by the following calculation.
20 Maintenance Mode Should any of the following maintenance indicators (CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4) appear in the display , please contact your Sharp Approved Service Centre for service. CARE AND CLEANING CLEAN THE OVEN A T REGULAR INTERV ALS IMPORT ANT • The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed.
21 Splash Cover: A T LEAST ONCE A WEEK, REMOVE THE SPLASH COVER AND WASH BOTH SIDES OF IT IN A MILD DETERGENT SOLUTION. A BUILD UP OF GREASE MA Y OVERHEA T AND BEGIN TO SMOKE AND MA Y BURN THE SPLASH COVER. THE SPLASH COVER IS LOCA TED IN THE TOP OF THE OVEN AND MA Y EASIL Y BE REMOVED.
22 SER VICE CALL CHECK Please check the following before calling for service: 1. When the door is opened, does the oven lamp come on? YES ________ NO _________ 2. Place one cup of water (approx. 250 ml) in a glass measure in the oven and close the door securely .
23 HELPFUL HINTS 1. THE ARRANGEMENT Arrange foods carefully . Place thickest areas toward outside of dish. 2. TURNING Foods such as poultry and joints of meat should be turned over after half the cooking time. 3. COVERING Cover foods in the microwave if you would normally cover the food in your ordinary oven, or to retain moisture.
24 FOOD DEFROSTING TIME MICROWA VE POWER LEVEL METHOD Beef, Lamb & Pork Joints (uncooked) 8 min. /500g 10% 1. Place on a large plate. 2. T urn over 4-5 times during defrosting. NOTE: If necessary , small pieces of aluminium foil can be used to shield small areas of meat which may become warm during defrosting.
25 FOOD COOKING TIME MICROW A VE POWER LEVEL METHOD Beef: Medium (T opside, Silverside) Chilled (5°C) 6-7 min. /500g 70% 1. Place fat side down in a fl an dish. 2. T urn over halfway through cooking and remove juice. 3. After cooking, wrap in foil and leave to stand for 8 minutes before serving.
