Playback condi- tions are preset on some D VD video discs, and these pla yback conditions take priority over user operations on this pla y- er .

– 9 – EN HOOK UPS NO TES: • Connect the D VD player directly to a TV . If the A/V cables are connected to a VCR, pictures may be distorted due to the copy protection system. • Be sure to turn off the power to all components in the system before connecting another component.
– 10 – EN During playbac k, press STILL/P A USE . • Playback will pause and sound will be m uted. The disc goes forw ard by one frame each time STILL/P A USE is pressed . T o exit step b y step playbac k, press PLA Y . 3 2 1 D VD-R W DV D During playbac k, press STOP .
– 11 – EN During playbac k, press FWD g or REV h repeated- ly to select the required f orward or re verse speed: x2, x8, x50, x100. • If you are using SKIP G / SEARCH g on the front panel, press and hold it for more than 1.5 sec (the longer you hold it, the f aster the speed will be) .

– 14 – EN Adjust the Black Le vel Settings to mak e the black parts of the picture as bright as you pref erred. Press GAMMA/B.LEVEL twice during playbac k. Press ENTER to switch ON/OFF . ON : Makes the dark par ts brighter. OF F : Shows the original picture as recorded .
