C 5.4 Prefetch/multi-segmented cache control The drive provides a prefetch (read look-ahe ad) and mu lti-segmen ted cache control algorithms tha t in many cases can enhance system performance . Cache refers to the drive buffer stora ge space when it is used in cache operations.
