12 If you a re using an AC ad apter(n ot includ ed) or Car Adap ter(not included), you will be able to play your device while charging. The Li-ion rechargeable battery will reach approx imately 70% charge in 2.5 hours and f ull char ge in about 3.5 ho urs.

14 Connecting to Your Computer MSC and MTP Modes Your Sansa e 200 can operat e in two di fferent USB modes, MTP (Media Transfer Prot ocol) an d MSC (Mass St orage Class). From you r Sansa’s m ain menu, go to Settings/USB Modes/M TP or MSC to change the mode.
15 Connect to your computer 1. Connect the small USB Cable end to the c omputer USB port and plug the l ar ger Cable Dock Connect or to your Sansa e200 po rt .

17 The detected Sansa e200 will list the available space and total space on the device. If more than one device is inserted, only th e first device will be supported . 3. Note: when you use the wheel the blue LED unde r the wheel should lig h ten automatically . 22 Settings Voice Video Using Navigation Buttons Use Navigation Buttons, described in “Getting Started”, to navigate though menus, play m usic, play video, bro wse photos a nd arrange files. Using Submenu Button When subm enu is available, the su bmenu icon will disp lay on the left bottom of t he Sansa e200 sc reen.
23 Music Mode Music/Voice/FM Playback 1. To play music store d in the internal memory or microSD card, recorded FM or Voice recording, select Music in Main Menu. 2. Select Artists, Albums, S ongs, Genres, Playlists, Recordings (FM/Voice), My Top Rated, and Music Options.
24 Setting Repeat Mode 1. In playbac k mode, press submenu . 2. Highlight and Select Repeat. 3. Select one of the following: Off: No repeat of tracks Song : Repeat the current trac k All: Repeat all selected tracks Press submenu again to exit Music Options.

28 1. To view photos stored on your Sansa, select Photo in the main menu. 2. Select PhotoList or Thumbnails . 3. If you selected Thumbnails you will see the browser screen. Scro ll thr ough the photos and select the one of interest. 4. Use the |<< a nd >>| buttons to backup or advance to another photo.

31 FM Radio Mode FM Radio 1. To listen t o the radio broa dcast, select FM Radio in Main Menu. Note: To set your FM Radio Regi on : US A , Japan , or World select Radio Options under Settin gs main menu.
32 To set Radio o p tions, press subm enu in Radio mode. z Select Add Preset to save c urrent freq uency into presets. z Select Delete Preset to remove c urrent frequency fr o m presets. z Select Delete All Preset to clear all presets, and next tim e when you ent er Radio M ode, Sansa e200 will search automatically.
33 4. To stop recordi ng, select Stop in record mode , and then a pop-up window will appear on the screen. Select Yes to sa ve recording. The recording will be saved in the RECORD fold er. The file list will appear . 5. Press |<< button to return to the Record, Listen, or Delete Recording Menu.

On the Display , a recording fi le should be generated and placed under the folder of [ /RECORD/FM/ ]. 6. To stop recordi ng, select Stop and the Save Recording? window will appear.
35 Settings Mode Y ou can personali ze your Sansa e200 settings by selecting Settings in the ma in menu . 1. Scroll the Settings Menu and make a selection. Set Backlight Backlight timer program can adjust the backlight setting fro m the default, turn off backlight after 2 seconds idle time.
