A list of features is display ed that allows you to perf or m different actions during the course of a call. Phone Book entries can store up to a total of six phone numbers, and each entr y’ s name can contain up to 20 characters. (For more information, see Section 2G : Using the Phone Book on page 83 .
Section 2A: Your Phone - The Basics 25 Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses Y ou can dial or save phone numbers with pauses for use with automated systems, such as v oicemai l or credit card billing numbers. There are tw o types of pauses available on y our phone: Hard Pause sends the ne xt set of numbers when you press .

Section 2C: Setting Your Phone’s Security 49 Using Special Numbers Special numbers are important number s that you have designated as being “alwa ys available. ” Y ou can ca ll and receive calls fr om special numbers even if your phone is locked.
