21 Rece ive Messages in Standby Mode Y ou ca n receive messa ges in standby mode. Call Functions 24 Making a Call — Number Entry Dialing Dialing Inter natio nal Numbers Call another coun tr y from the U .S. 1. In standby mode, enter the three-digit ex it code (011) for the United States. 2. Enter the country code for the country that you are calling.
25 Making a Call — Speed Dialing Y ou can store phone numbers and contact na mes in your device ’ s Contacts list. Speed Dialing lets you quickly and ea sily dial any contact in your Contacts li st by using that contact’ s location number in th e list.
Call Functions 26 Ignoring a Call • A phone number (unless blocked by the call er) and a name appear in the display (if the caller’ s number and name are st ored in your Contacts list). • If the caller can’t be identif ied, Call from unavailable# , Call from restricted number , or no number appears in the display .

Call Functions 30 Calls Log Missed Calls Y our device retains informa tion about the la st 100 missed calls (ca lls that were never picked up) and stores them in the Missed Calls log . Usi ng the Missed Calls log you can: • Review missed calls for the times and dates of the ca lls, as well as other information.
31 Ignored Ca lls Y our device retains informa tion about th e last 100 Incoming calls from numbers that were automatically or manua lly ignored and stores them in t he Ignored calls log. Using the Ignored ca lls log you can: • Review ignored calls for the time s and dates of the calls, as well as other information.

CUSTOMIZE 84 Bluetooth 4. Press the key to perfo rm the function for the hig hlighted option. Set Pass word The default lock code for your device is ge nerally the last four digits of your phone number . It is advisable to ch ange the default lock code to a secret code for security purposes.
