Make sure that the notched corner is at the top left and the gold contacts of the card face into the phone. Note: When y ou need to remov e the SIM card, slide it, as shown, and take it out of the socket.

35 34 Phonebook Phonebook Y ou can store phone numbers and their corresponding names in the memory of your SIM card. In addition, you can store up to 500 numbers in the phone memory . The SIM card and phone memories, although physically separate, are used as if they were a single entity , called the phonebook.

63 Messages Messages 62 While reading a message, you can choose the following options by pressing the Options soft key . Delete: allows y ou to delete obsolete messages. Text Reply (Inbox only): allows you to reply to the sender by sending a text message.

71 Call Records Call Records 70 Dialled Calls (Menu 2.3) This option lets you view the last 20 dialled calls. The number and name, if av ailable, are displayed, together with the date and time when the call was made. Press the key to dial the number .
73 72 Sound Settings Y ou can use the Sound Settings menu to customise v arious settings, such as the: • Ring melody , volume and type. • Sounds made when you press a key , make an error or receive a message. Note: When the phone is in the silent mode (see page 29), you cannot change the sound settings.
