Call functions 31 Ending a call Close the phone or press [ ]. Answering a call When you receive an incoming call, the phone rings and displays the incoming call image. Press < Accept > or [ ] to an swer the call . Tips for a nswering a call • When Anykey answer is ac tive, you ca n press any key , except < Reject > and [ ].
32 Call functions Options during a call Y ou can access a number of functions during a call. Adjusting the volume during a call Use [V olume] to adjust the earpiece volume during a call. Press [V olume up] to increase the volume level and [V olume down] to decrease the volume level.
Call functions 33 Using In-call options Press < Options > to access th e following options during a call: • Voice clarity on / Voice cla rity off : remov e extraneous noise and increa ses call quality so that the person with whom you are speaking can hear you clearly even if you are in a noise place.
34 • Remove : disconnect one multi-party call partic ipant. • End h eld call : disconnect the call currently on hold. • SIM service : access special ser vices, such as news, weather forecasts, ent ertainment, and location services, provided by your SIM card.

36 Menu functions • Reset timers : reset the call timers . Y ou need to enter the phone password. Call costs (Menu 1.7) This network feature displays the cost of calls. This menu is available only if supported by your SIM card. Note that this is not intended to be used for billing purposes.

64 Menu functions Reception within home network or abroad has the following options: - Automatic : the phone a utomatically re trieves messages from the server . - Reject : the phone rejects all messages. - Manual : the phone displays notifications. Use the Retrieve option to manually download new messages.

92 Menu functions Call barring (Menu 9. 5.2) This network service allows you to restrict your calls. 1. Select a call barring option: • All outgoing : prohibit outgoing calls.

96 Menu functions Receiving data via Bluetooth T o receive data via Bluetooth, your phone’s Bluetooth feature must be active and its visibility must be enabled. If an unauthorised B luetooth device sends data to your phone, press < Yes > to allow the de vice to access your ph one.
Menu functions Settings (Menu 9) 97 Privacy (Menu 9.7.5) Use this menu to lock access to call records, Phonebook entries, messages, or media files in the phone’s m emory or on a memory card. When a privacy option is enabled, you must enter the phone password to access t he locked items.
