7 G et started First steps to operate your phone SIM card information When you subscribe to a cellular network, you receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card loaded with your subscripti on details, such as your PIN, and available optional services.
8 Get started Low battery indicator When the battery is low : • a warning tone sounds, • t he battery low message displays, and • t he empty battery icon blinks. If the battery lev el becomes too lo w , the phone automatically turns off . Recharge your batt ery .

25 M enu functions All menu options listed Phonebook Y ou can store phone numbers on your SIM card and in your phone’ s memory . The SIM card and phone’ s memory are physically separ ate, but they are used as a single entity called Phonebook. T o access this menu, press < Phonebook > in Idle mode.
26 Menu functions New entry Use this menu to add a new entry to Phonebook. Storing a number or an e-ma il address in the phone’s memory 1. Select a number type. 2. Select Phone . 3. Enter a name and press < OK >. 4. Enter a number or an e-mail address and press < Save >.
Menu functions Phonebook 27 • Graphic : set a gr aphic icon fo r incoming calls from the group. • Group name : assign a name to the grou p. Speed dial Use this menu to assign speed dial numbers (2 to 9) to eight of your most frequently called numbers.
28 Menu functions SDN This menu is available if your SIM card supports Service Dialling Numbers (SDN). Use this menu to view the li st of SDNs a ssigned by your service provider , including emergency numbers, directory enquiries, and voicemail numbers.
