Call Functi ons 24 Making a Call Ending a Call 䊳 When you want to finish your call, bri efly press the key . R ediali ng the Last Number The phone stores the numbers of the calls you’ve dialed, received, or missed if the caller is id entified. T o recall any of these numbers: 1.

Call Functi ons 26 Call Records The follo wing Call Record op tions are av ailable: All call s This menu lets you view th e 60 most recent calls you received, dialed, and missed. The name or number , if alre ady stored i n your Phoneboo k, is displayed with the number of occurrences for each number .
27 • Add to block list : Allows you to add the highlighted nu mber to the blocked call list. Y ou can press th e key at a ny time to exit the Missed Call feature.
Call Functi ons 28 Silent Mode Silent Mode Silent Mode is convenient when you wish to stop the phone from making any noise, in a theat er for example. In Idle mo de, press and hol d the key until t he “Silent Mo de On” message and the Silent Mode icon ( ) displays.

31 Muting or Send ing K ey T ones These options al low you to turn the ke y tones off or on. I f the Mute keys option is selected, your phone does not trans mit th e DTMF (Dual T one Multi-Frequenc y) tones of the ke ys, which then allo ws you to pre ss keys with out hearing annoying key tones during a call .

Understandin g Y our Phonebook 40 Storing a Number in the Phone’ s Memory 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access the Menu mode. 2. Using the Naviga tion key s, scroll to the Phonebook icon. Pres s the Select soft key or the key to enter yo ur Phonebook.
41 Storing a Number in the SIM Car d The default storage location for saving ph one numb ers to your phonebook is your phone’ s built-in memor y . T o sa ve a number to your SIM card , you need to change the Def ault Saving option first.

After storing, the phone disp lays the new Phoneboo k entr y . 7. T o use the e ntry opti ons before saving the number , highlight the Name field and press the Options soft key .

47 Deleting all of the Phonebook Entries Y ou can delete all your entries from your pho ne’ s m emory , your SIM card, FDN, or All. Important!: Once Phonebook entries ha ve been dele ted, they cann ot be recove red. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to acce ss the Menu mode.

49 Memor y St atus Y ou can check h ow many names and numbe rs are stored in the Phonebo ok, within both SIM card and the phone me mory . Y ou can also see the curren t storag e capacity of both memories. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.

Messages 52 T ext Messages T e xt Messages Short Messa ge Ser vice (SMS ) allo ws you to send and receive sh ort text messages to and from other mobile phones. In addi tion, your phone sup ports the Enhanced Messag ing Serv ice (EMS), which enab les yo u to inclu de simple graphics, melodies, and animated images in your messages.
53 • Attach : allows you to attach a Name card, Schedule, Anniversary item, Miscellaneous item, or T ask to your message. • Save to Drafts : saves the message to the Drafts folder . • Select language : allows you to set the language to English, Français, and Español.
Messages 54 Picture Messages Picture Messa ges This menu allows you to use the Mu ltimedia Message Se rvice (MMS). Picture Messaging is a messaging service that provides delive ry of pe rsonal picture messages from phone to phone or from phone to email.
55 8. Highlight one of the fo llow ing options and press the Select so ft key or the key . • T ak e picture : launches the camera for you to take a picture. • Downloaded images : allows you to select a previously downloaded image to send in the picture message.

59 • Reply via : allows you to sen d a reply to the sender by sending a T ext message, Picture message, or Vo ice note. • Reply all via : allows you to send a reply to the sender by sending a Picture message or Voice note. • Call back : allows you to call the sender back.
Messages 60 Outbox • Re play : allows you to repl ay the Voice note. • Save address : allows you to extract the sende r’ s number and URL, email addresses or phone number s from the message text, so tha t you can sa ve them in your phone’ s mem ory .
61 While re ading a mes sage, you can ch oose different opti ons by pressing the Options soft key . Dr afts This message box stores message s that you may want to edit or se nd at a later t ime. When you enter this menu, th e list of messages in the box displays.
Messages 62 Voice Mail • Phone book : allows you to enter the phone number you want from your phonebook. • New number : allows you to manually enter a phone numb er or email address. 6. After selecting a re cipient, press the Send soft key . The template message sends to the select recipient(s).

Settings In this menu, you can set up a default text message or a picture message. The last setting you accessed is auto matically activated for se nding subsequent mess ages.

The following o ptions are avai lable: • Browse wallpapers : allows you to download additi onal wallpapers from t-zones.
Changing Y our Settings 70 Display Settings Backlight In this menu, you can select the len gth of time that the k eypad backlight is on a nd how much longer the display is illuminated befo re going off. The On setting is how long the keypad backlight is on.
71 T o change the background color: 1. Highlight the Background color option and press the Select soft key or the key . 2. Use the Left or Right key to select between 20 differen t colors o r None. 3. Press the Save soft key or the key to save your change.

75 The follo wing options are avai lable: • Forward always : all calls are forwarded until this feature is cancelled. • Busy : calls are forwarded when you are already on another call. •N o r e p l y : calls are forwarded when you do not answer the phone.

77 Caller ID Y ou can prevent your phone number from displaying on the phone of the person called . Note: Some networks do not allo w you to change this setting. The following o ptions are avai lable: • Default : the default setting provided by the network is used .
Changing Y our Settings 78 Security Phone l ock When the Phon e lock feature is enabl ed, the phone is locke d and you must enter the 4- to 8-digit phone password each time th e phone is switc hed on. Note: T o change the p hone pass word, see "Change passwo rd" on pa ge 78.

83 Images In this menu, you can view the li st of images do wnloaded from the web ser ver , taken with the b uilt-in came ra, or receive d in messages. Y ou can set an image as t he current background image. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.
Fun & Apps 84 Files My Album My Album is a priv ate onli ne picture al bum tha t you can use to store and share pictures, videos, voice messages, and text. For more information, see "My Album" on page 102. Use the fol lowing pr ocedures to access My Al bum .

Fun & Apps 86 Camera Browse Games Y ou can do wnload more games from the T -Mobile website by using the Browse Games option. 1. Highlight th e Browse Games option and press the Connect soft key or the key . Note: When downl oading games , charges may a pply .
87 Alar m This feature allows you to: • Set up to 3 alarms to ri ng at specified times. • Set the phone to switc h on automa tically and ring the alarm e ven if the ph one is switched off. The following o ptions are avai lable: • W ake-up alarm : the alarm rings to wake yo u up in the morning.
Fun & Apps 88 Organizer 11. Press the Select soft key once you have selected an alarm sound. 12. Press the Save soft key . 13. T o stop the alarm when it rings, press any key or press the Snooze soft key . Note: The Snooze alarm rings ever y five minute s until it is turned off.
