13 .5 < Troubleshoot ing> T oner cartridge -related messag es Power Failure Power has turned of f then on and the machine ’s memory has not been back up. The job wh ich you were trying to do before the power fail ure must b e completel y re-done.
13 .6 < Troubleshoot ing> Paper does not feed into t he machine . • Remov e any o bstru ctions from inside the m achine . • Paper has not been loaded corre ctly . Remove pape r from t he tra y and r eload it correct ly . • There is too m uch p aper in the tray .
13 .7 < Troubleshoot ing> The machine sele cts prin t materials from the wrong paper source . The pap er so urce selectio n in the printer properti es may be incorr ect. For many sof tware applicati ons, the p aper source sele ction is found under the Paper tab w ithin the printer properti es.
13 .8 < Troubleshoot ing> Printing quality problems If the insid e of the machine is dirty or p aper has bee n loaded im properly , you may noti ce a reductio n in print quality .

Shar ing the Printe r L oca lly 23 5 Sharing the Printer Locally Y ou can connect the printer directly to a selected computer , which i s ca lled “hos t c o m puter , ” o n th e n e tw ork.
