There are several ways in which your printer can be assi gned a TCP/IP address, depending on your network.

The tray 1 can hold a ma ximum of 250 sheets of 80 g/m 2 pape r . Y ou can purchase an optiona l tray 2 and attach it below th e tray 1 to load an additional 250 sheets of paper .
5 .6 < Loading pri nt media> Note s • Do not push th e paper width guide far enough to cause the material to warp. • If you do not adjust the paper wid th guide, it may cause paper jams.
5 .7 < Loading pri nt media> 4 Squeeze the multi-purpose tray paper wid th guides and adjust them to the width of the paper . Do not force too much, or the paper will be bent, which will result in a paper jam or skew . 5 When you print a document, set the paper source and type in th e software application.
5 .8 < Loading pri nt media> Selecting an output location The printer has two output locations; the rear cover (face up) and the output tray (face down). The printe r sends output to the output tray by default. T o use the o utput tray, make sure that the rear cover is closed.

9 .1 < Troubleshooti ng> 9 Troubleshooting This chapter provides he lpful informat ion for what to do if you e ncounter an error while using your printer .
9 .2 < Troubleshooti ng> 2 Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out. Make sure that all of the paper is properly aligned in the tray 1. If the paper does not move when you pull, or if you do not see the paper in this area, check the fuser a rea around the toner cartridge.
9 .3 < Troubleshooti ng> Around the toner cartridge Note The fuser area is hot. T ake care when removing paper from the printer . 1 Open the front cover and pull the toner cartrid ge out. 2 Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out.

9 .6 < Troubleshooti ng> T roubleshooting checklist If the printer is not working properly , consult the following checklist. If the printer does not pass a step, follow the corresponding troubleshooting suggestions.
9 .7 < Troubleshooti ng> LSU Motor Error Cycle Power A problem has occurred in the LSU (Laser Scanning Unit). Unplug the power cord and plug it back inches. If the problem persists, please ca ll for service. Main Mot or Locked There is a problem in the main motor .

9 .11 < Troubleshooti ng> Solving print quality problems Dirt inside of the printer or improper paper loading may reduce print quality . See the table below to troubleshoot problems. T ry printing with a different batch of paper . Do not o pen packages of paper until necessary so that the paper does not absorb too much moisture.

Curl If the printed paper is curled or paper do es not feed into the printer: • T urn over the stack of paper in the tray .

Open Unified Dr iver Configurator and switch to the Printers tab in Printers configuration window to look at the list of available printers.
10 .1 < Installing accessories> 10 Installing accessories Y our printe r is a full-featured laser printer that h as been optimi zed to meet most of your printing n eeds. Recognizing that ea ch user may have different requirements, however , Samsung makes seve ral accessories available to enhance the printer ’s capabilities.
