VHDIND 1 PREPAR ATION Congratulations on your purchase of the J ensen VHDIND ½ din slot-in DVD player . The VHDIND is designed to optimize the enjoyment of your favo rite DVDs in the mobile environment. This DVD Player is constructed to provide year s of reliable, trouble-free service.
VHDIND 2 Powering the DVD Player This system MUST be powered from switched (A ccessory) p ower as indicated on the marking label. Power should b e applied to the unit when t he ignition key is in the Run and/or Accessory positions. Use only the s upplied power cable provided with th is set to avoid electric hazards.

VHDIND 4 REMOTE CONTROL Inserting the Battery 1. Open the battery compartment cover . 2. Insert the new battery (3V Cr2025). Make sure the positive and negative battery terminals are oriented as indicated b elow . 3. Close the cover . Using the Remote Control Point the remote control toward the front of the player (at the remote control sensor).
VHDIND 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Loading a DVD/VCD/CD Disc 1. T urn the ignition to the Accessory (ACC) position. 2. Press the POWER / button. 3. Insert the disc into the disc slot with the label side facing up. The player starts playback automatically .
VHDIND 6 Zoom During playback, press the ZOOM button to enlarge the picture by 2x or 3x, with the current zoom multiple displayed on the screen. Repeat Play DVD Playback During playback, press the REPEA T button once to repeatedly play the current chapter .
VHDIND 7 Disc Menu Select the preferred Disc Menu language using t he cursor buttons, and then press ENTER to confirm. NOTE: The Default Password is 3308. This p assword is always effective even after you have selected your own password a nd changed it.

VHDIND 9 Care and Maintena nce 1. Do not get water or cleaning fluids on the unit. 2. If the temperature inside the player gets too hi gh, a protection circuit automatically stops play of the disc. If this occurs, allow the uni t to cool be fore operating the player again.
