G etting Started English - 5 CD-R/-RW Use a 700MB (80 minutes) CD-R/-RW disc. If possible, do not use a 800MB (90 minutes) or above disc , as the disc may not play back. If the CD-R/-R W disc was not recorded as a closed session, you may experience a dela y in the early playback time, all r ecorded les may not play .

S y stem Setup English - 29 EZ Recor d function will automatically Finalise the disc under the following c onditions. When you press the OPEN/CL OSE button on your DVD Recorder & VCR after recording on at least 70% of the disc . The tray will open after the disc has been nalised.
S y stem Setup English - 30 Auto Repeat It sets the VCR to pla y a tape repeatedly (unless a tape contr ol is activated : Stop, F ast F or ward or Rewind). On O Colour System Before r ecording or playing back a tape , you can select the required system standard .
S y stem Setup English - 31 based on their content. Language F ollow (DVD- VR475M only) This sets the menu language of external devices connected to a Samsung T V using Anynet +, so they match the language setting of the T V . T o ac tivate this, Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) must be set to On.

D T V Functions English - 36 Progr essive Scan This function is available when video output is component . This setting enables you to select a desired progressive mode. T o view “Progressive scan mode ” , rst connect the component cable . (See page 19) Be sure the Component cables are c onnected properly .
