Where the siren is referenced below , the horn or both may in fact chirp, or beep. ARMING THE SYSTEM - ACTIVE 1. Turn off the engine, exit the vehicle, and close all doors, hood lid, and trunk lid.
128-6460 3 of 8 Page 3 PROTECTION WHILE THE SYSTEM IS ARMED þ Opening any protected door , hood, or trunk lid will cause the alarm to immediately sound. The alarm will continue to sound for 30 seconds, then stop and continue to monitor all protected entry points.

Before turning the key on, examine the LED to identify which zone was triggered. þ Siren/Horn does not sound. If the siren and or horn sounds 4 chirps, then the alarm was triggered in your absence.
