4 SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES Never direct a water str eam toward people or pets, or any electrical device. Before starting any cleaning operation, close doors and windows. Clear the area to be cleaned of debris, toys, outdoor furniture, or other objects that could cr eate a hazard.

8 FEA TURES KNOW YOUR PRESSURE WASHER See Figure 1. The safe use of this product r equires an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator’ s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you ar e attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.
9 ASSEMBL Y WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing do not operate this product until the parts ar e replaced. Failur e to heed this warning could result in serious personal injury . WARNING: Do not attempt to modify this product or create acces- sories not recommended for use with this pr oduct.
10 ASSEMBL Y INST ALLING TRIGGER HANDLE HOLDERS See Figures 4 - 5. Place top trigger handle holder over handle bar and align holes. Secure using scr ews and nuts as shown. While holding screw with Phillips scr ewdriver , tighten each nut with wrench to secur e.
11 COLLAR THREADED NIPPLE ASSEMBL Y CONNECTING HIGH PRESSURE HOSE TO TRIGGER HANDLE See Figure 7. Screw the collar on the high pr essure hose into the trigger handle inlet coupler by turning the hose collar clockwise. Pull on the hose to be certain it is properly secur ed.
12 ASSEMBL Y CONNECTING THE GARDEN HOSE TO THE PRESSURE WASHER See Figures 10 - 11. The water supply must come from a water main. NEVER use hot water or water from pools, lakes, etc.

14 ASSEMBL Y ADDING LUBRICANT TO THE ENGINE See Figure 15. NOTE: This machine has been shipped with approximately 59 ml of lubricant in the engine from testing.
15 OPERA TION WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with the product to make you car e - less. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury . WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating power tools.
16 OPERA TION Grasp recoil starter and pull slowly until r esistance is felt. Give recoil starter a short, brisk pull to start the engine. Do not allow the recoil starter to snap back after starting; return it gently to its original place.
17 OPERA TION Push the nozzle into the quick-connect collar until it clicks in place and is secured pr operly . T o disconnect a nozzle from the trigger handle once the cleaning job is complete: T ur n off the pr essure washer and shut of f the water supply .
18 OPERA TION Before shutting of f the engine: Place the injection hose in a bucket of clean water . Flush for 1 - 2 minutes (spray clear water thr ough the spray wand). Shut off the engine. NOTE: Shutting OFF ( O ) the engine will not r elieve pressure in the system.
19 LIFTING AND MOVING T HE PRESSURE WASHER See Figures 26 - 27. NOTE: The pressure washer is heavy and may r equire two people when lifting. T o lift the pressur e washer: T urn the pressure washer of f. Point nozzle in a safe direc - tion and pull trigger to release water pr essure.
20 MAINTENANCE WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazar d or cause product damage. WARNING: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during power tool operation or when blowing dust.
21 T o clean nozzles on cleaning deck: T ur n off the pr essure washer and shut of f the water supply . With the surface cleaner on the ground, pull trig- ger to release water pr essure. Disconnect cleaning deck fr om pressure washer or spray wand.
22 MAINTENANCE STORING THE PRESSURE WASHER See Figure 32. Store the pr essure washer with the gas tank empty by either draining the tank or running the pressur e washer until the gas runs out. Allow 30 minutes of “cool down” time before storing the machine.
