4 5 SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES n Do not use to pick up hard objects such as nails, screws, coins, etc. Damage or injury could result. n Hand vac does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet, therefore it is always in operating condition. Be aware of possible hazards when using the hand vac or when changing accessories.
4 5 n An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock.

8 9 ASSEMBL Y UNP ACKING This product has been shipped completely assembled. n Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. n Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
10 11 OPERA TION NOTE: Batteries will not r each full charge the first time they are charged. Allow several cycles (operation followed by rechar ging) for them to become fully charged. CHARGING A COOL BA TTER Y P ACK If battery pack is within normal temperatur e range, the green LED on char ger will come on.
10 11 OPERA TION CHARGING A HOT BA TTER Y P ACK When using the tool continuously , the batteries in the battery pack will become hot. Y ou should let a hot battery pack cool down for approximately 30 minutes before attempting to rechar ge.

The brush attachment, cr evice tool and squeegee attach- ment can be easily snapped into place on your hand vac. n Turn off the vacuum. n Insert the attachment to the front end of the vacuum dust bowl, making sure the attachment is firmly snapped into place.

14 15 BA TTERIES The bat tery pack for this tool is equip ped with nickel -ca dmi um rechar geable batteries. Length of service from each charging will depend on the type of work you are doing. The batteries in this tool have been designed to provide maximum trouble-free life.
