4 5 SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES n Do not permit children to use worklight unsupervised. It is not a toy . The temperature of the bulb will become hot after being on for only a short period of time. This hot temperature can cause bur n injury if touched and can create suf ficient heat to melt some fabrics.

8 9 ASSEMBL Y UNP ACKING This product has been shipped completely assembled. n Carefully remove the workligh t and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. n Inspect the worklight car efully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
8 9 WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with workligh ts to make you car e- less. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury . WARNING: Do not use any attachments or accessories not recom- mended by the manufacturer of this worklight.
10 11 OPERA TION n Aft er normal usage, a minimum of 1 hour of charging time is required to fully recharge battery pack. n The battery pack will become slightly warm to the touch while charging. This is normal and does not indicate a problem. n Do not place the charger and battery pack in an area of extreme heat or cold.
10 11 OPERA TION TO REMOVE BA TTERY P ACK See Figure 4. � n To remove battery pack, locate latches on end of bat- tery pack and depress to release battery pack from the worklight. CAUTION: Battery tools are always in operating condition. Use caution when carrying to prevent depressing the switch trigger when light is not needed.
12 13 MAINTENANCE BULB REPLACEMENT See Figure 6. When purchas ing replacement bulb, r equest recomm ended part number 7817502. TO REPLACE BULB: n Allow bulb to cool. � n Remove battery pack by depressing side latches to re- lease from worklight. � n Remove lens cover by turning in a counterclockwise direction.
