16 CONNECTING A PC Connect the 15-pin D-SUB PC/VGA connector from your computer to the 15-pin D-SUB PC/VGA input on this unit using a monitor cable (not included). Connect a stereo audio cable (not included) to the PC AUDIO IN jack on this unit, and the other end to the A UDIO OUT jack on your computer’ s sound card.
17 USING THE AC PO WER AD APTER The supplied AC adapter operates on AC 120V. • Press the STANDBY/ON button on the unit or remote control to turn on the unit. Note: • The AC adaptor included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with other equipment.
18 INST ALLA TION MOUNTING ON THE W ALL T his unit is VESA-compliant, and is designed to be wall-mounted with a VESA-compliant 3” x 3” (75mm x 75mm) mounting kit designed for flat-panel TVs (sold separately). Mount this unit according to the directions included with the mounting kit.
19 • T urn down the volume before connecting headphones to the unit, then adjust the volume to your desired level. • When headphones are connected, no sound will come from the front speakers. Note: • Avoid listening to sound at high levels for prolonged periods of time.

23 CD/D VD PROGRAMMABLE MEMORY PROGRAMMABLE MEMORY The two types of programmed playback provided by this Unit are title/chapter programmed playback and track programmed playback. TITLE/CHAPTER PROGRAMMED PLA YBA CK (D VD) 1. Press the MEMORY button while the disc is stopped.

While the disc is playing, press the REPEAT A-B button at the beginning of the section ( is displa yed) you w ant to play repeatedly . 2. Press the REPEAT A-B button again at the end of the section ( is displayed) you want to play repeatedly .
25 LANGU AGE SETUP 1 . Press the SETUP button in stop mode. 2 . Use the button to change the highlight cursor . Use the or button to select a language, then press the ENTER button. T he screen will change to y our selected language immediately . 3 . T o exit the SETUP MENU and return to the normal screen, press the RETURN or SETUP button.

33 CLEANING THE DISC A defective or soiled disc inserted into the unit can cause sound to drop out during playback. Handle the disc by holding its inner and outer edges. • Do NOT touch the surface of the unlabeled side of the disc. • Do NOT stick paper or tape on the surface.
34 TROUBLE SHOO TING GUIDE SYMPTOM C A USE (AND REMED Y ) • Ensure the AC power cord is connected. • T urn on the unit. • Remove any obstacles between the remote and the unit. • Use the remote near the unit. • Point the remote at the remote sensor on the unit.
