8 9 FEA TURES KNOW YOUR FRAMING NAILER See Figure 1. Before attempting to use this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. ADJUST ABLE EXHAUST The exhaust can be adjusted to a variety of positions de- pending on operator prefer ence.
10 11 UNP ACKING This product has been shipped completely assembled. n Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. n Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. n Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.

WARNING: The tool’ s driving mechanism may cycle when the tool is first connected to the air supply . Always connect the tool to the air supply before loading nails to prevent injury from unintended cycling.
14 15 OPERA TION Fig. 8 Fig. 9 TRIGGER WORKPIECE CONT ACT WARNING: During normal use the tool will recoil immediately after driving a fastener . This is a normal function of the tool. Do not attempt to prevent the recoil by holding the nailer against the work.
14 15 OPERA TION DR Y -FIRE LOCKOUT When the magazine is almost empty of nails, the dry-fire lockout feature will not allow continued operation. T o resume operation, r eload the tool with nails. SETTING THE AIR PRESSURE The amount of air pr essur e requir ed will depend on the size of the nail and the workpiece material.
