Troubleshooting 22 4 Driver setting error. (Memo- ry) There is an error in the down- load ed fo nt( s). Reset t he paramete r for down- loading fonts. Insufficient memory or memo- ry settings for the pr inter driv- er may not match memor y actually installed.
Error & Status Messages on the Display Panel 23 4 Following output tray is full. ### Re move t he pa per. ## # The indicated outp ut tray is full. Note ❒ “ ### ” in the me ssage rep- resents a outpu t tray. Remove t he pa per. HDD has a problem.
Troubleshooting 24 4 Parallel I/F board has a prob- lem. An error has occu rred in the parallel interface board. Contact your sa les or s ervic e representative. Print overrun. The image data has been thinned out due to image com- pressio n. Increase memory capacity.
The Machine Does Not Print 25 4 The Machine Do es Not Pr int Possibl e Cause Solutions Is the power on? Confirm the cab le is secu rely plugged into the p ower outlet and the machine. Turn on the main power switch. Is the machine online? If not, press [ Online ] on the display panel.
Troubleshooting 26 4 When using wireless LAN, is the access point correctly set? Confirm access point settings when in Infrastructure m ode. De- pending on the access point, client access may be limited by the MAC addr ess.
The Machine Does Not Print 27 4 Problem Sol utions Is the Data In indicator blinking or lit after starting the p ri nt jo b? If not, data is not being s ent to the ma chine. ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ When the machin e is connected to the comput er using the interf ace cable Confirm that machine port settings are correct.
Troubleshooting 28 4 Other Printing Problems Problem C auses, Descriptions, a nd Solut ions The print on the entire pa ge is fad - ed. If Toner Saver is s elected in the [ Print Quality ] tab on the p rinter dr iver tab, the entire page will be faded when pr inted.
Other Printing Problems 29 4 A print instruc- tio n wa s is sue d from the comp ut- er, b ut p ri nti ng did not start . User code ma nagement may hav e been set. Ask the a dministrator about valid user cod es. To print, t he user code must be ent ered from t he printer driver.
Troubleshooting 30 4 It takes too much time to res ume printin g. The d ata is s o l arg e or comp le x th at i t ta kes t im e to pro ces s. I f th e Data In indicator is blinking, data is being processed. Jus t wait until printing re- sume s. The machine was in E nergy Saver mode.
