TRACT OR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the implement must have the power cap acity to lift, pull, and operate the Power T ake Off (PTO) at the im plement’s rated speed while tra veling at a ground spee d between 2 and 5 MPH.

Six holes are available for adjustments. Note: See the rake operator ’s manual for more information on setting the rakes.

If the wing is allowed to ex ten d to the point where the caster wheel is o n the axle ramp, the rake can fa ll rapidly and possibly cause an injur y .

DISCONNECTING THE IMPL EMENT FROM THE TRACT OR Before disconnecting the implement, the PT O must be disengaged and tine wheel rot ation at a complete stop. Move the implement to a level storage location and lower it to the ground.

OPERA TION 12.1 T ransporting T o transport the machine, it is necessary to raise the hay rakes which can b e done from the tracto r using the hydraulic lever . It is not necessary to move the hay rakes from the working po sition in order to raise them.
