- 8 - CONNECTIONS Connecting a TV (Using the RF Cable) 1. Connect an antenna cab le to the RF IN ter minal on the rear of the unit. 2. Use the RF cab le (included) to connect the unit and TV/Monitor as sho wn. 3. T ur n on your TV and switch TV’s channel selection to CH3.
- 9 - Using the A C Adapter The supplied 9V adapter operates on A C 100-120V ~ 50/60Hz. While the AC adapter is connected and the unit is in standb y mode, power will be consumed and the power indicator is RED . Cautions: • The AC adapter included with this unit is f or its use only .

- 12 - RA TINGS • This feature enab les you to restrict access to cer tain TV programs whose content ma y be deemed unsuitable f or your children. Viewing is restricted unless the password (initial def ault passw ord: 0000) that you have chosen is entered.
- 13 - RA TINGS • Press 3 for Change PIN T o change the password for r atings. The initial def ault password is "0000", y ou can change it and create your own pass word to activate the rating settings . NO TE 1: Remember your pass word,If you hav e changed it.
- 14 - CLOSED CAPTIONING • Let you change the closed caption appearance (font, te xt color , text opacity , background color , background, edge eff ect and edge color). • Press 1 (Font Options) to change f ont color and effects, 2 (Back Options) to change background color and eff ects or 3 (Default) to reset to default settings .
- 15 - DISPLA Y 16:9 CONTENTS W A TCHING NON-DIGIT AL TV When receiving a 16:9 digital broadcast signal, the Digital TV Converter will con vert the 16:9 picture to fi t a 4:3 TV screen. Use the "Picture" setting to select between two con version modes.

If the surfaces are e xtremely dir ty , wipe clean with a cloth that has been dipped in a weak soap-and-water solution and wrung out thoroughly .
