1 Three-component Universal Remote Congratulations on your purc hase of this three-component universal remote. This universal remote controls up to three electronic components and makes juggling remote controls a thing of the past. Y our remote is guaranteed to work with all brands of components.
2 T here are four methods you can use to program your remote control to operate your components: • Brand Code Searc h and Entry • Direct C ode Entry • Manual Code Searc h and Entry • Auto C ode Search and Entry Most components can be programmed in one of these four ways.
3 Programming the DVD•VCR Key to Contr ol a VCR or DVR T he DVD•VCR key defaults to control a DVD player . If you want the DVD•V C R key to control a VCR or DVR, you must preprogram the DVD•V C R key . 1. Press and hold the DVD•VCR key . The L E D turns on.

5 Code Retrieval Once you’ve programmed the remote to control your components, you may want to record the codes for future reference. If you used the Direct C ode Entry method, this is easy . Just find the codes you entered and make a note of them in the boxes below .
