Rem o v e the c rate f rom around the pl aner and any f astener s securi ng the pl aner t o the ski d . 2. Rem ov e the side cov ers and plac e t he lif ti ng hooks int o the slot s (Fi gure 1).
10 2. Make sure t he v oltage of the power source corr es pond s to the v olt age of the pl aner as recor ded on t he m otor pl at e . 3. Open t he elec trical enc l os ur e on the lef t side of the m achine (Fi gure 3) by loosening the screws and sl i ding the panel upward.
11 3. Th e R es et bu tto n (F igu re 5) w ill lig ht u p i f the m achine becom es o v erloaded. Press this bu tto n to re-s tar t th e mach ine . 4. The Em ergency St op Button shuts d own all operati ons on the pl aner. An aut o m atic brake stop s the m otor withi n 10 seconds.
12 Ch angin g Fuses Disconnec t pl aner f r o m power source, and open the el ectric al enclosure. P ull open the cov er on a f use holder, as sho wn in Fi gure 7, and sl ide out t he old f use. Repl ace it w i th a ne w one of the proper a m perage. Cl ose the cover.

14 Feed Rollers The i n f eed and out feed r o l lers and chi pbreaker hav e been fac tory set. How ev er, if spring tensi on adjustm ent should ev er be necessary , use the appr opriat e adjustm ent assem bly loc ated beneath t he li p o f t he f rame – one i s shown in F i gure 13.
