- 11 - System Connections NOTE: Before p lugging the power cord into a n AC outlet, make sure that all the connections have been made as described below. Power Supply Connection Connect the supplied adapter to the side of the DVD player in the jack marked “ DC 9.
- 12 - System Connections Connecting to a Normal Amplifier The DVD player can be connected to an amp lifier. Please refer to the equipment’s manual before connecting. Switch the AV IN/OUT switch on the ri ght panel to OUT to send the audio signal to the external amplifier.
- 13 - P l a y b a c k P r e p a r a t i o n s Prep aration Refer to the drawing and remove the empty battery receptacle. Insert the battery into the receptacle. Make sure the polarity matches the marks inside the component. Insert the receptacle into the remote control.

- 18 - P o w e r S u p p l y Det aching the Battery Pack If the DVD Player is not going to be used for long periods of time, the batter y pack should first be fully charged and the Ba ttery Pack should be detached. When the DVD Player is turned OFF, the DVD Player is still consuming some power in STANDBY mode.

For ease of installati on, do not place the DVD pl ayer into the case until after the case is att ached inside the vehicle.

Locate the 2 straps with hooks on each end 3. Hook one end of each strap to the rings at the top of the case (A) 4.
- 21 - P l a y O p e r a t i o n DVD Player Operation Read all instructions carefully before using your DVD Payer for the first time. Prep aration Turn the DVD Player ON b y pressing the POWER button on the front panel of the player. Load disc with the label upward, playback of the disc will begin automatically.
- 22 - P l a y O p e r a t i o n Tit le Me nu To view the Title Menu during playback of a disc, press the TITLE button on the remote control. The title menu will appear on the LCD screen. Press the direction buttons ( ) or the number buttons to select the title or disc option you wish to play .
- 23 - System Setup Setup Menu Y ou can change the default settings to customize performance to your o wn preference. Remove the disc from the disc tray and press the ‘SETUP’ button on the remot e control, the settings menu will appear . It includes General Setup, S peaker Setup, Dolby Digital Setup, Video Setup and Preference setup.

Slow Forw a rd & Rewind Press the SLOW button to Slow Forward or sl ow rewind a track on a disc during playback (1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16).
- 27 - P l a y b a c k F u n c t i o n s Search by time Use the GOTO button to search by Time, namely to start playback of the disc from a specific time. During DVD playback, press the GOTO button o nce and TV screen will display three (3) items: Time, Title and Chapter.
- 28 - P l a y b a c k F u n c t i o n s Playing a JPEG JPEG is a common picture format. Hundreds of pictures can be stored in a disc in this format. Normal Playback Load a JPEG disc into the DVD Player. Afte r reading the disc, the DVD Player will display the images on the disc in sequence.
