Intr oduction The P olaroid Model 209 Miniportrait camera produces 2 identical por traits on eac h sheet of P olaroid 690 color pac k film. The camera has a number of additional features suc h as: • Built-in electronic flash unit. The camera can also be used with other types of lighting.
A ccessor ies Universal Digital AC adapt er: Enables the camera to use electrical power rather than bat teries in high volume applications. IMPOR T AN T the use of other non-P olaroid AC adapters may damage the camera. (PID # 649424) 1 0 0-240 volt supply .
+ The fi lm pr ocessing timer T o activ ate the timer: Slide bat tery cover open to remove the protective battery insulator strip. T o set the timer: Press and hold the MIN but ton and then the SEC but ton until the correct processing time is displayed (see fi lm instructions for recommended times).

Cleaning the Dev eloper r ollers Dir t on the Developer roller s can cause a variety of problems suc h as repeated spots on the pictures and jammed fi lm. Inspect the rollers when loading the fi lm, and clean them as follows. With both hands, lif t the steel hoops, and remove the roller assembly .
