4 • Running Mail 4-12 SV61436 Rev. D Mode Selection: Weigh First Piece This feature is avail able only on systems that have the o ptional Weigh- On-The-W ay® (WOW®) modu le installed. In this mode, the machine weighs t he first mail pie ce and processes the remaining mail at the same post age rate.

D Using Electronic Confirmation Services The United S tates Post Of fice (USPS) provides three types of co nfirmation services: • Delive ry Confirmation - shows you when the postal carrier delivered the mail. • Signat ure Confirmation - shows you who signed for the mail.
