8 ENGLISH Chapter 1 - Installing the softwar e Start by installing Philips Media Manag er This software makes the music, photo, and movie f iles on your computer availab le for tr ansfer from your computer to y our television. 1 Place the Philips Media Manager CD in your CD or D VD’ s drive and install the Philips Media Manager software.
ENGLISH 9 Chapter 2 – Connecting the SL400i Choose the scenario that best fits y our situation for installing the SL400i. Option A: If y ou do not hav e a wireless computer netw ork: In this configuration you only ha ve a computer and a TV . •Y ou will install the Wireless USB Adapter on your computer .

4 Connect the Audio + Composite video cable to the audio and video outputs % of the SL400i and to your TV . Use the yello w connector s of the Audio + Composite Video cable to connect the CBVS Video output of the SL400i to the Composite Video (CBVS) input of your TV .
8 Explore the PC Link men u on the TV screen. Use the navigation b uttons ( 3412 ) and the OK b utton on the remote control to explore the multimedia content y ou made available on y our PC .

18 ENGLISH Chapter 3 - Enab ling broadband Internet entertainment If you ha ve a broadband Internet connection (min. 256 kbps), you can stream Internet r adio stations and movie trailer s liv e from the Inter net to the SL400i for free. Broadband inter net also provides the on-line upgrades for the SL400i.
