Parrot MKi9000 – U ser guide 3 Installation WARNING: We advise our cu stomers to have th e Parrot MKi9000 fitted by a professional. Before you begin Checkin g the car configuration The cables supplied with the kit feature ISO conne ctors and two pairs of line -out jacks.
Parrot MKi9000 – U ser guide 4 Installing the kit Note : If you have the possibility to u se a multimete r, test and verify all connections on the vehicle before connecting the Parrot MKi9200 wiring loom. Car stereo with I SO connectors 1. Connect the male conn ectors of the hand s-free kit to t he car stereo.
Parrot MKi9000 – U ser guide 5 Car stereo with line - in Use this type of connection b y wiring the line -out (brown & white wire or red & b lack wire) to you r car stereo’s line -in. Using the two pairs of line -ou t will enable you to tak e advantage of the music function in stereo over your veh icle’s speak ers.

Parrot MKi9000 – U ser guide 7 Installing the individual components Installing th e double microphone Selecting a location In order to get hi -quality con versations, we advise you to re spect the following recommendations: Make sure the microphon e is installed as close to the mouth of the u ser as possible.

Mounting the double microphone The mounting location for the microphon e must be c lean and free from grease or dust. Prior to installation , clean the area with an appropriate cleansing pro duct.
Parrot MKi9000 – U ser guide 9 Installing the remote control on th e dashboard If you want to p lace the remote control o n the dashboard , stick the double -sided tape located on th e flat side of th e bracket to fix it against t he dashboard . You can then insert the remote onto the bracket.
