The CONSOLE por t requires a DB9 plug c on nec tor . The other connector depend s on the serial por t on y our modem, but norm ally a DB25 plug is required.

3. LEDs 3-2 Octobe r 2002 4200-A2- GN20-10 LED M eanings When power i s first applied to the unit, i t perform s a po wer-on self-test. When this test is success fully completed, the Status LE D blinks. The meaning of all the LEDs is shown in T able 3-1, F ront P anel LEDs .
4200-A 2-GN20-10 Octob er 2002 4-1 4 Config u ration Ov erv iew The G ranDSLAM 42 00 is desi gned to requi re mini mal configurat ion before it can be accessed b y a Networ k Operations Center (NOC). Initial configuration can be perf or m ed us ing the Command Line Interf ace (CLI).
