7 Safety Precautions / Maintenance W ARNING The front of the display panel has been specially treated. Wipe the panel surface gently using only a cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth.
+ - + - 8 Accessories Requires two AA batteries. 2. Insert batteries - note correct polarity ( + and -). Precaution on battery use Incorrect installation can cause battery leakage and corrosion that will damage the remote control transmitter . 17 Basic Controls Standby (ON / OFF) button The Plasma Display must fi rst be plugged into the wall outlet and turned on at the power switch (see page 13). Press this button to turn the Plasma Display On, from Standby mode. Press it again to turn the Plasma Display Off to Standby mode.
