Before us ing 16 LSQT1 21 1 HDD and SD card This unit can be used for rec ording motion pictures and still pictures to the internal HDD and an SD card. *1 The 30 GB hard drive utilizes a portion of the storage space for formatting, file management and other purposes .
Bef or e us i ng 17 LSQT12 1 1 ≥ Use this unit to format SD cards. If an SD card is formatted on other products (such as a computer), the time spent for r ecording may become longer and you m ay not b e able to use the SD c ard.
Before us ing 18 LSQT1 21 1 This unit has an internal HDD. The HDD is a precision instrument s o take care when handling it. ∫ Do not cause any vibrations or imp act s to this unit. The HDD m ay no longer be recognised or recordi ng or playback may no longer be possible.
Bef or e us i ng 19 LSQT12 1 1 ∫ Card ac cess lam p ≥ When this unit accesses the SD card (reading, recording, playback, erasing, etc.), t he access lam p lights up. ≥ If the following operations are performed when the access lamp is lit, then the SD ca rd or the re corded data may be damaged or this unit may malfunction.
20 LSQT1 21 1 Setup Setup Power supply When this unit is purchased, the battery is not charged. Charge the battery before using this unit. ≥ If the DC c able is conn ected to the AC adaptor , then the b attery will n ot be charged. Remove the DC cable from the AC adaptor .
Setup 21 LSQT12 1 1 The times show n in the tables below are for when the t emperature is 25 o C and the hum idity is 60%. If the temperature is higher or lower than 25 o C, t he charging time will become longer . ∫ Charging time ≥ The charging time shown in the table a re approximations.

23 LSQT12 1 1 Setup The unit is in the standby condition when t he AC adaptor is connected. The primary circuit is always “live” as long as the AC adaptor is connected to an electrical outlet. 1 Connect the AC cable to the AC adaptor and the AC outle t.
24 LSQT1 21 1 Setup ∫ T o turn on the power Open the L CD monitor . The status indicator light s and the power turns on. ∫ T o turn off the power Close the LCD monitor . The status indicator goes off and the power turns off. ≥ The power will not turn off while recording even if the LCD monitor is closed.
25 LSQT12 1 1 Setup 4 Securely c lose the card slot cover . Selecting a mode The mode d ial is used to switch bet ween recording and playbac k modes. Rotate the mode dial slowly but s urely . Rot ate the mode dial, and set the desired mode pictograph to the position shown in the illustration.
