If the handset or base unit ringer is turned off, the handset or base unit will ring at the low level for intercom calls, and will not ring for outside calls.

If you subscribe to Caller ID, callers’ information will be displayed and recorded in the Caller List. How Caller ID information is displayed When a call comes in, the unit will ring and the Caller ID information will be received.
