VQT3P31 23 SETUP D A TE AND TIME SETTING The camera will record the date and time an image or audio recording is taken so that y ou can disp la y them during pla ybac k. Theref ore , bef ore capturing images, mak e sure the correct date and time are set.
24 VQT3P31 SETUP 4 Set the clock. 1 Select [TIME]. 2 Press the SET b utton. h The Set Time Screen appears. 3 Set the time to “19 :30”. h The time is set in the fol lowing order: Set the hour → Set the minute. 4 Press the SET b utton. 5 Set the order in which the date is displayed during playback.

VQT3P31 31 BASIC OPERA TION/SHOO TING MA CRO-PHO T OGRAPHY (ZOOM) Y our camera has two z oom function s: optical zoo m and digital zoom (see page 39 in the Operat ing Instructions (PDF fo rmat)). 1 Point the camera le ns at the subject. 2 Push the zoom switch toward [T/ ] ] or [W/ P ] to compose the desired image.
