9 3.4. How to Define the Model Suffix (NTSC or P AL model) There are seven kinds of DMC-TZ3/ TZ2, regardless of the colours. • a) DMC-TZ3S • b) DMC-TZ3, TZ2P/PC • c) DMC-TZ3, TZ2EB/EF/EG/EGM/GN .

INITIAL SETTINGS: When you replace the Main PCB, be sure to pe rform the initial settings after achieving the adj ustment by ordering the following pro- cedure in accordance with model suffix of the unit. 1. 15 6 Service Mode 6.1. Error Code Memory Function 1. General description This unit is equipped with h istory of error code memory func tion, and can be memorized 16 error codes in se quence from the latest. When the error is occurred more than 16, the oldest error is overwritten in sequence.

18 6.2. Confirmation of Firmware V ersion The Firmware version can be confirme d by ordering the following steps:. • Step 1. The temporary cancellation of factory setting: Set the mode dial to “[ Normal picture mode ] (Red camera mark)”. Insert the SD memo ry card which has a few photo data.

20 7.2. When Replacing the Main PCB After replacing the MAIN PCB, be sure to achieve adjustment. The adjustment i nstruction is avail able at “software download” on the “Support Information from NWBG/VDBG-P A VC” web-site in “TSN system”, together with Main tenance software.
