7 2.4. How to Replace the Lithium Battery 2.4.1. Replacement Procedure 1. Remove the POWER/TOP PCB. (Ref er to Disassembly Procedures.) 2. Remove the Lithium battery (Ref. No. “Z9901 ” at component side of POWER/TOP PCB) and then repl ace it into new one.

10 3.4. How to Define the Model Suffix (NTSC or P A L model) There are six kinds of DMC-TZ1, regardless of the colours. • a) DMC-TZ1S • b) DMC-TZ1PP • c) DMC-TZ1EB/EF/EG/EGM/GN • d) DMC-TZ1EE • e) DMC-TZ1G T • g) DMC-TZ1PL/GC/GK/SG (DMC-TZ1S is exclusively Japan domestic model.

INITIAL SETTINGS: When you replace the Ma in PCB be sure to perform the initial se ttings after achieving the Adju stment, b y ordering the fo llowing pro- cedure in accordance with model suffix. • Step 1. 14 6 Service Mode 6.1. Error Code Memory Function 1. General description This unit is equipped with history of error code memory func tion, and ca n be memorized 32 error co des in sequence from the latest. When the e rror is occurred more than 32, the oldest error is overwritten in sequence.
