11 of 72 Basic Steps to Install 1. Connect the output plug of t he mains adaptor to the socket on the back of the bas e unit and the mains adaptor t o the w all mains supply. 2. 17 of 72 Using Pre-Dial l i ng You can enter a telephone numb er and verify it on the dis play before you place the c all. • Use the keypad to enter t he ph one number. The display shows the digits as you e nter th em. • If more than 16 digits are entered, the icon will be turned on.

33 of 72 Answering Mode There are two modes av ailab le to answer an incoming call when the answering ma chine is on. When the answering machine is in Answer and Record (AN S RECORD) mode, t he answering machine will a llow th e caller to leave a message after OGM1 is play ed.
