EN 7 GETTING ST ARTED BA TTERIES Batteries are not supplied with this product. Y ou will need to purchase the following alkaline batteries: • Main unit 3 x UM-3 / AA 1.5V • Remote sensor 2 x UM-4 / AAA 1.5V • UV sensor 2 x UM-3 / AA 1.5V Insert batteries before first use, matching the polarity as shown in the battery compartment.
EN 8 SWITCH OPTION Channel Channel 1 - 3. If you are using more than one sensor, select a different channel for each sensor . SETUP SENSOR 1. Open the sensor battery compartment with a small Phillips screwdriver. 2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarity as shown in the battery compartment.
EN 9 Wireless ranges can be impacted by a variety of factors such as extremely cold temperatures. Extreme cold may temporarily reduce the effective range between the sensor and the base station.
EN 10 T o force a manual search for Atomic Clock signals, press and hold for 2 seconds. If no signal is found, check the batteries. NOTE If the Atomic Clock signal is received and the hour is incorrect, use the "time zone offset" feature to adjust it to the appropriate time zone.
EN 11 BAROMETER This product tracks barometric pressure changes over the past 24 hours to provide the weather forecast and a trend line showing the direction of barometric change. EN 15 NOTE T o get the most accurate readings, place the sensor in a position that has minimum obstructions (i.e. walls and doors) between it and the main unit. The sensor should be placed in an upright position, away from any shade or shadows that may af fect how accurate the sensor provides readings.
