13 23. Re wind : Re winds at high speed. Each time you press this button the rewind spe ed is increased. 24. Play / Time shift : Display the progress bar of pl ayback when no progress bar is di splayed. Star t playback with nor mal speed. Return to normal s peed from trick mode.
14 Connecting diagram 1. Receiver to A/C power Connect the A /C power cor d between A/C p ower cord socket of receiver and A/C outlet. 2. Receiver to TV with Digital A/V Output Connect the HDMI Cable to the HDMI Connector of t he TV.

17 Guide of Func tions 1. Selecting a Service To sele ct the desired service (channel), ple ase refer to the instructions below. 1.1 Using CH UP /DOWN butto ns You can navigate between services by pressing CH UP/DOW N buttons. Whenever you press the CH UP(DOWN) button, cu rrent s ervice will be change d to next/previous service.
18 1.4 Using Recen t Service List To display recent service list, press the RECALL but ton f or a short time. To return to the previous service that you were watching, press RECALL button twice o r for a lo nger time. Choose the service from the recent service list, use the ARROW button to sele ct, and then press the OK but ton.
19 Press the EPG bu tton, then t he EPG menu will be d isplayed. Use the ARROW buttons to move to o ther services or to see pre vious/next guide. Press t he EP G but ton once to view full EPG with multi service list, and press it tw ice to view the additional EPG information of a specific channel service.
20 8. Subtitle You can se lect the lan guage for a Sub title, if the pro gram provides subtitle information . Press the SUBTI TLE button o n your remote control unit. Select the de sired subtitle l anguage then pres s OK button. The s ubtitle will be d isplayed in the selected language at the bottom of the s creen.
21 10. Tele text When the TELET EXT icon on the INFO Banne r, press th e TELETEX T button to view the tel etext. 11. PIP (Picture in Picture) When you press the PIP bu tton, a sub pic ture screen will appear on the ma in screen vie w.
22 If you press the PAGE UP/DO WN button, t he location o f the sub picture is changed. If you press the PIP SERVI CE LIST button, you can se e the list of services o f sub picture. You can change the service o f the sub picture from the se rvice list shown.
23 PVR (Personal V ideo Recorder) Function 1. Recording Y ou can select a recor ding storage device with the following sequence : Menu > Configu ration > R ecording Op tion > Record Device. Default is set to ‘USB’ . 1.1 Recording methods There are 3 type recording m ethods.
24 Event Sched uled Recording via EPG : - In the EPG menu scree n, you can choose the event you w ish to schedule or record. - While watching the LIVE TV screen, pres s the EPG button to access the EPG menu screen. - Go to the eve nt which yo u wish to v iew at the time indicated o n the EPG schedule , then press OK .
25 1.2 Recording Edit Press the REC but ton while recording to s ee the reco rding message w indow. Pause : Sele ct Pause Recordi ng then press OK to pause the current re cording pro cess. Duration : S et recording du ration. Press LEFT /RIGHT ARR OW button to ch ange record ing duration.
26 Press PAUSE button once again and event will resume from the pause time. During record ing, press the PLAY/TIMESHIF T bu tton to show the Play bar screen. While the Pla y bar is sho wn on your screen, you may use the LEFT/RIGHT Arrow button to move ( forward & backward) freely within recorde d time.
27 2. Time Shifting You can select a storage device fo r a temporary file of the Time shifting with the following se quence: Menu > Config uration > Rec ording O ption > Tim eShift Device.
28 3. Playback (Play List) Y ou can playback many files with the Playlist wh ich you access by the PLA Y LIST button. In the Playlist, you can che ck and playback r ecord ed files, multimed ia m ovie files, MP 3 m usic files, and image files.
29 File Op tion : If you press the BLU E butto n, you can sel ect a option for Delete, New Folder, Move to Folde r, Copy to Device, Rename, Lock/Unloc k. You can select mul tiple file s together and dele te or move al l of them at once. - Delete : To delete file( s) - New Folder : To make new folder.
30 4. Bookmark When the Play bar is display ed, you may mo ve to de sired time and book mark it by pressing the RED button. Bookmark(s) are indicated with a G reen li ne on the play b ar. Also, you ma y press the RE D button to activa te the play b ar to mark your bookmark( s).
31 5. Trick mode The user can change the speed of a fast forward play with FF (Fast For ward) button. Press FF button to change the speed to x2, x4, x6, and x 8. If you once again press FF button in its x8 mo de, it retur ns to normal( x1) speed play.

33 Main Menu of Guide To display the menu, press the MENU button at any time. You can select the sub menus by usin g the ARROW bu ttons. The se lected sub menu becomes highl ighted. A fter selecting (highlighting) the sub menu you want to access, press the OK button.
34 1.2 Timer Se ttings Insert a new time r entry or modify an existing timer entry. To a dd new timer e ntry : P res s the GREEN button. Timer Edit window w ill popup. You can set the specific sta rt da te, time, duration and service for its reservation.
35 Delete Ser vices : All se rvice lists will be sho wn on left side of the window. By us ing the ARROW and OK buttons yo u may select services to be dele ted by placing th em in the middl e window. The press the GR EEN button to de lete the s elected services.
36 1.4 Data Transf er When the data transfer task is in process, the Fr o nt USB slot is se t to a default de vice s lot. But, if no USB de vice is connected o n a front USB sl ot, then the R ear USB slot is set as a de vice t o be used for the data transfer process.
37 2. Configurati on 2.1 Recording Option Alarm Confirm Message : Turn ‘ON’ th is Alarm message to indicate and s how the alert po p-up message when there is a reserved recording eve nt. The ale rt mess age w ill sho w 3 minutes before the starting time of the res erved recor ding event.
38 2.2 Parental Control User ’ s access rights to a serv ice a nd pr ograms are controlled by a 4-di git secret code that is defined by the use r . Whene ver you attempt to acc ess the parental control menu, a pop-up window will ask you to input a PIN code.
39 2.4 Time Setting Time Setting : To set the current time, you can use two modes; Auto or Manual . Local O ffset : Enter the offset value by using the standardized information of current servic e area. Daylight Savi ng : I f you want to apply daylight savin g, select the counter by us ing the ARR OW buttons.
40 2.6 A/V Outp ut Setting TV Type : Sel ect the TV types.( PAL/NTSC/Au to ) In Auto mode, the STB is automaticall y selected to NTSC or PAL accord ingly to the service played. TV Aspect Ratio : Sele ct the aspect ratio of TV which is connected to the S TB (4 :3/16:9 ).
41 3. Installation 3.1 Dish Setting Sele ct the satellite/antenn a and LNB se ttings for ser vi ce sear ch. The va lu es that are se t in th is me nu wil l b e ava il abl e f or selec tion in other service se arching menus. Satellite : Sele ct the satellite whic h you wan t to do a search for.
42 - Using USALS : Dish Longitude : En ter the longitude posit ion of the antenna using the NUMERIC buttons. Dish Latitude : Enter the latitude using the NUM ERIC buttons. Go To : Press the OK button to rotate the dish to t he selected antenna position.
43 Advanced Sear ch Mode : - Satellite : Press the OK button to select the target satel lite for search. - Frequency : Sel ect the freque ncy from the list to search. - Symbol rate : Enter the symbo l rate by using the NUMERIC buttons. - Polarity : Sele ct the polarity.
44 Dynamic settin gs (RED key) - You can make your DDNS se tting in this menu b y press ing the RED colored button. - For more details abo ut yo ur DDNS settings , pleas e ask your local DDNS s ervice provider.
45 4. Utility 4.1 Calculator T o u s e th e c al cu l ato r , hi g hl i gh t th e ca l cu l ato r a n d pre s s the OK button. 4.2 Calendar To display the calendar, highlight t he calendar and pre ss the OK button. Utilize th e ARROW buttons to choo se the date.
46 4.4 Plugin If you have the program file for Plug in, you can do wnload the file(s) to Plugin then enjoy the progra m. Download Pl ugin File - In the USB stora ge, please create a new folde r name ‘plug in’ and in this ‘plugin’ folder, create a folder name ‘bin’.
47 4.5 YouTube Required set tings : Be fore you can e njoy the YouTub e feature with your S TB, please make sure of the following condi tions. - Set-top-box shoul d be connected with Etherne t cable, with proper network set tings. (Please refer to the menu of “Network setti ng”, and its operation instruc tions).
48 T rou bleshooting Problem Solution Does not display any message on the fron t panel. Check the main power cabl e and check that it is plugged into a suitable power outlet. Check the STB main power switch ‘O N’ at the r ear of the STB. No Picture See ‘Does not display any m essage on the front panel’ a bove.
