Appearance The appearance of th e Call Handling Screen differs with each available skin.

For insta nce, the alphabetical J, K, or L is interpreted as a number five (5).

The message “Se rver unreachable” displays on the PDA screen. Server unres ponsive The sound you select for this event plays if MVC 2050 fails to connect to the server.
Mobile Voice Client 2050 settings 56 Pr ofiles Each profile is a named file that contains a combination of servers and other attributes that control the co nnectio n, behavior, and app earance of the MVC 2050 .

From the drop-down list on the Profiles tab, select th e profile you want to remove. See Figure 28. Note: “My Server” is a built-in profile name that cannot be deleted.

See Figure 32. To select an existing macro, tap th e down arrow in the Macro list bo x, and make your selection.

Mobile Voice Client 2050 settings 65 Preview You can preview your macro in a single view by viewing the Read -only field under the Contents box. Dialpad You can selec t the Keys list box and press the Add button, or you can use the numbers on the dial pad, to enter numbers into your macro.

Client diagnostics Client diagnostics are used to determi ne the connection status of the MVC 2050.
Mobile Voice Client 2050 for expert users 67 Audio quality Audio quality of voice transmission depends on many factors, su ch as codec characteristics, echo cancelle r, jitter buffer size, and listener perception .
Mobile Voice Client 2050 for expert users 68 Audio clarity If you experience breakups in the receive audio stream, adjust the setting towards Higher Qualit y . This increases the number of audio buffers used to process incoming au dio. If the delay is too large, you can de crease this setting.

It can be used to select the Media Access Contro l (MAC) address that the MVC 2050 reports to the communica tion server. The Hardware ID being used by MVC 2050 can be viewed on the MVC 2050 Settings > Hardware ID tab.
