7 Copyright © 2006 Nokia. All rights reserved. Before you can start to use the headset, you must charge the battery, and pair the headset with a compatible phone. Note: Parts of the headset are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted to the headset.
8 Copyright © 2006 Nokia. All rights reserved. 1. Connect the charger cable to the headset. 2. Connect the ACP-12 charger to a wall outlet or the LCH-12 charger to the accessory power outlet of your car. The red indicator light is displayed during charging.

See the user guide of your phone for instructions. 3. Press and hold the volume up key an d the volume down key simultaneously.

11 Copyright © 2006 Nokia. All rights reserved. 3. Basic use ■ Wear the headset on either ear The headset is ready to wear on the right ear (1). If you want to use it on the left ear, gently detach the earloop (2) and rotate it (3), and push it back into place (4).

The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or th ree complete charge and dis charge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out.
